- In a large pitcher, whisk together the dry white wine, apple cider, spiced rum, brandy and brown sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
Add Fruit & Spices
- Stir in the sliced apple, pear and orange along with the cinnamon sticks and star anise.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
Notes
I found that stirring the sugar in at room temperature helps dissolve it fully.
Chilling for at least 4 hours yields best flavor, though I’ve chilled up to 12 hours with great results.
Leftovers stored in the fridge are best consumed within 48 hours to maintain brightness and safety.
