Method
- Cook pasta until al dente, drain.
- Brown sausage in skillet, add onion and garlic. Stir in tomatoes, sauce, and seasoning. Simmer.
- Mix ricotta, egg, Parmesan in a bowl.
- Layer pasta, sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella in baking dish. Repeat.
- Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Rest 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Can be made ahead and refrigerated or frozen. Try swapping in veggies or other proteins for variety.
