Chicken Parmesan Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain.

  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil, sauté garlic, then add marinara and chicken. Simmer 5 minutes.

  4. Toss pasta with sauce mixture.

  5. Layer half pasta in dish, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan. Add remaining pasta, top with cheese.

  6. Bake 20–25 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Rest 5 minutes, garnish with basil, and serve.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
