Ingredients
  

Pears

  • 4 ripe pears halved and cored

Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pecans optional

Instructions
 

Pears

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in an 8×8-inch baking dish.

Glaze

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Bake

  • Drizzle the glaze evenly over the pears, then bake for 25–30 minutes, until the edges are golden and juices are bubbling.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over the pears and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the nuts are lightly toasted.
  • Allow the pears to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store cooled pears in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes or enjoy cold for a refreshing snack.
