Zest and juice of 1 lemon

grated Parmesan cheese

fresh parsley

Method
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in lemon zest and juice.
Toss in pasta, adding reserved water as needed.
Finish with Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh lemon and garlic for the best flavor. Add shrimp or chicken for protein.
