Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup warm milk or cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Peel and cube potatoes.

  • Add to pressure cooker with water to cover and 1 tsp salt.

  • Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes; quick release.
  • Drain well and return to hot pot.

  • Mash potatoes, then stir in butter.
  • Add warm milk, mix gently.

Notes

For garlic mashed potatoes, cook 3 cloves of garlic with the potatoes
