I absolutely love making these savory Sausage and Grilled Shrimp Skewers! Not only are they loaded with delicious flavor, but they're also incredibly easy to prepare. Perfect for a quick dinner or impressing guests at a BBQ!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz smoked sausage rope
  • 12 oz shrimp jumbo, tail-on, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsp avocado oil
  • 2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Warm up your grill to 350°F, ensuring the grates are squeaky clean.
  • Slice the sausage into 1-inch pieces, matching the thickness of your shrimp for even grilling.
  • Dry off the shrimp using paper towels for a better sear. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, sausage, avocado oil, and Cajun seasoning until everything is well-coated.
  • Nestle the sausage within the curve of the shrimp and thread onto skewers.
  • Grill the skewers over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes per side until the shrimp are opaque. Relish the fresh-off-the-grill flavor!

Notes

These skewers are my go-to for combining ease and flavor. Swap avocado oil with olive oil if preferred. For an extra kick, spice it up with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Ideal for whenever you're short on time but still crave something scrumptious!
