Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely diced white onion
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, and diced onion. Use your hands to mix until everything is well combined.
  • Add in the eggs, Dijon mustard, and ketchup, followed by garlic powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just blended.
  • Shape the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties. Make a small indentation in the center of each one to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
  • If you plan to grill, place the patties on wax paper and freeze them for about 15-20 minutes. This helps maintain their shape.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding a tablespoon of oil. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
