Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Juicy, tender pulled pork cooked low and slow with BBQ sauce, piled high on buns with pickles. Ingredients:

Ingredients
  

  • 3 –4 lbs pork shoulder or pork butt
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Buns and pickles for serving

Method
 

  1. Season pork with spices.

  2. Place onion and garlic in slow cooker, add pork on top.

  3. Mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar; pour over pork.

  4. Cook LOW 8–10 hours or HIGH 4–5 hours.

Notes

Toast buns to prevent sogginess. Add hot sauce if you like it spicy.
